The Board of Directors, Executive, Managers, and Staff at Northeast Health form part of a united team who all play an important role in the provision of healthcare services to our community.
The Board of Directors consists of members with a broad skill base, and accountable to the Minister for Health for the performance of our health service.
New Board members are appointed by the Governor-in-Council following a rigorous application and selection process. It is important that the Board of Directors has a wide range of skills to effectively provide leadership of Northeast Health, and we are very fortunate to have such a mix in place covering clinical, corporate, financial and legal experience.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the efficient and effective management of Northeast Health Wangaratta.
The Executive Director of Corporate Services is responsible for the effective delivery of corporate and operational support services. The role is also responsible for financial management, governance and reporting requirements to the Board, Department of Health and Human Services and external auditing bodies.
